We are learning about Moses during September. Moses was saved by God, and chosen to do God's work and be God's messenger.  We will explore the life of Moses through stories, songs, crafts and play.

PARENT'S NIGHT OUT!
  Friday, November 7th, 6:30-10:00 p.m.
A night of games, movies, crafts, snacks and play for children ages birth-5th grade. All youth will be supervised by adults. More info...

Community-Wide Presbyterian Thanksgiving Eve Service with a choir from all the Presbyterian Churches
Wednesday, Nov. 26, 7:00 p.m.
Representatives from all the Presbyterian Churches will participate and the Rev. Jeff Warrick, the new pastor of Good Shepherd, will preach. Bring your whole family to give thanks to God this Thanksgiving eve.

"Spirituality and Love of Family"
9 a.m. Sundays--In Fellowship Hall A
Throughout November, we will look at relationships
between familial love and spirituality with a special interest
in the uses of story in exploring such relationships. As all of
us know, family relationships are rich resources for thinking
about relationships--in Biblical stories, for example, God is
frequently figured as "father." How can/do stories of familial
love and spirituality speak to us? What stories might we tell? More info...

Annual Meeting of the Congregation
The Annual Meeting of the Congregation will be held Sunday, November 16, 2008, immediately following 10:30 a.m. worship. The agenda includes nomination and election of officers and the Annual Corporation Meeting. Everyone is
encouraged to attend.

Barnes and Noble Bookfair
On Saturday, December 6th, a percentage of any
purchases you make at the "O" Street bookstore
between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. will be given to the
Westminster Preschool. Vouchers will be printed
in the December Messenger and inserted into the
Sunday morning bulletin for you to present with
your purchases that day, or tell them you want to
have your purchases applied to the "Westminster
Preschool Bookfair" if you don't have the voucher
with you at the time of your purchase.
