  Second Century Campaign Gifts
  Over ½ Million Dollars

Tremendous generosity is among the people of Westminster and is making great things possible.
As of mid-October, the Second Century Campaign
has collected over ½ million dollars. What a wonderfully welcome response.

First of all, these early gifts mean we already have been able to pay off a quarter of a million dollars in debt. This is a huge step forward in our financial life! Every dollar paid toward the debt has an even further impact in lowering interest payments from next year's budget. Gifts given so far contribute to this "multiplier effect" that is very positive for our mission.

Secondly, we have an equal amount in reserve for the Sanctuary Restoration project. These gifts, and promises of more early in 2008, are allowing us to move forward with part of the construction a year earlier than anticipated. Plans are being made to install the fire prevention sprinkler system, new lighting and the new floor as Phase 1 of the project. Work is targeted to begin a few weeks after Easter.

As we said when this campaign kicked-off, we believe that God is calling us to "A Time to Soar." Your generosity and enthusiastic support are making that vision happen. Thank you for your gifts and generosity. And please, keep this whole project in your prayers, that God will guide us into an even more wonderful future.

We wish God's blessings on you and your loved ones this Thanksgiving!
