Welcome New Members
The following were welcomed into membership at Westminster during 10:30 a.m. worship, April 20th.

Melissa Aning is transferring from First Presbyterian Church, Luverne, MN. She is engaged to Cory Rutten, another new member. Missy is a zookeeper at the Lincoln Children's Zoo and a recommended blackbelt in Taekwando.

Jim and Sandra Bunz joined as transfers from First Presbyterian Church, Grand Island NE. Both have served as deacons and elders. Jim attended WPC while at UNL. Jim and Sandra like to travel and play golf.

Judy Buss
joined on reaffirmation of faith. She is the executive director at American Quilt Study Group. Judy's daughter, April Douglas and family are members of Westminster. She enjoys time with family and friends and history of all kinds.

Colleen and Seth Colaner - Colleen joined by transfer from College Park Baptist Church, Greenboro NC and Seth by baptism. Seth is a writer for Sandhills Publishing and Colleen is a graduate student at UNL. They joined Westminster because of the church's inclusive mission and commitment to social needs.

Robert DeStafano joined on profession of faith. Robert is a division sales manager for Nash Finch. He enjoys golf & cycling.

Marya Dockery transferred from Southwood Lutheran, Lincoln NE. Marya is a business analyst at Ameritas Life. She enjoys golf, walking and watching her son, Andrew, age 9, in sports activities.

Sharon Johnson is the mother of 3 adult children and has lived in Lincoln for 1 year after moving from Nashville. She works at Health and Human Services in grant management.

Prairie and Shane Meis joined on profession of faith. Prairie is a special ed teacher for the Lincoln Public Schools and Shane is a scientist for Monsanto. Both enjoy walking and movies.

Cory Rutten joined on reaffirmation of faith. He is a service coordinator for Bizco Technoligies. He and Missy Aning have an October wedding planned in Antelope Park.

Steve Teget is transferring from Southern Heights Presbyterian Church, Lincoln NE. Steve is Assistant Principal (HS)/A.D. at Crete Public Schools. His aunt & uncle, Barb and Herb Schliesser are members of Westminster. Steve enjoys reading, golf, travel and sporting events.

Brenda Wristen joined by transfer from Lincoln Church of Christ, Lincoln, NE. She is a professor at the University of Nebraska. Brenda is an avid reader and enjoys attending arts and cultural events.
