Picnic on
the Prairie
Get out your straw hats and
sunbonnets and dust off the old wicker hamper.
We're going on a picnic! Sunday June 8th,
following the 10:30 worship service we'll be
caravaning to Spring Creek Prairie--over 800
acres of native tallgrass prairie and woodlands
near Denton. Spring Creek is family-friendly
with modern restrooms, picnic facilities,
barrier- free trails, and a unique nature gift
shop. After lunch we'll join in some activities
specially designed by prairie naturalists for
the enjoyment of all ages. Watch the Vine for
more details, and sign up at the Prairie Picnic
Table in the Garden Room on May 19th or 25th.
