Faith Village

You shall put these words of mine in your heart and soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and fix them as an emblem on your forehead.                     -Deut. 11:18

Everyone was given a star for Easter Sunday. On Sunday June 1st the awards were given out in worship. Gold awards were given to 29 children for attending Sunday school at least 15 times. 17 children were given Silver awards for attending at least 12 times, and 20 children were given the Bronze award for attending at least 9 times. Congratulations to all of Westminster's Star Students!

The Food Pantry
Needs Your Help!

Food donations and monetary gifts are desperately needed. If the food items are available at the Lincoln Food Bank we can purchase them for 17 cents a pound. However, may items aren't available so we have to purchase them at the grocery store and/or rely on your food contributions. It is a vicious circle--food prices are rising and the Mission needs more food in order to distribute to more hungry people. Westminster is proud of our mission for the People City Mission, however, we need your help soon. Our food supply is low and our pantry account is very low. Please consider donating food items or monetary gifts to the Westminster Food Pantry. All gifts large or small will help.
