Attention Runners -
Join the Westminster Team and Run for Charity

This year Westminster would like to form teams to run in the 30th Annual Havelock Charity Run. The run is Saturday, June 7th starting at 8:00 a.m.  We would like to form both a 10K (6.2 miles) and/or 3 K (1.86 miles) teams.

Each team consists of at least 5 members so we can use your help. We can raise $50.00 for a charity, or if we beat the Havelock Team, they will donate $75.00 to our  favorite charity. The Havelock Charity Run is the 3rd event of the Kid's Grand Prix. The entry fee is $15.00. There will be a sign up table in the garden room or contact Bob Michaud at 423-7046
or bmich4@neb.rr.com.

Leave a Legacy...

Leaving a legacy to Westminster through the Westminster Foundation is an opportunity we all should take advantage of by stipulating the Foundation as a place to send memorials upon our or a loved ones death. Each year the Foundation gives 5% of its funds to the church for their annual budget as well as considering any special requests, so as the Foundation's monies grow so does it's annual contribution.

Pat and Chip Hackley are the most recent members that remembered the Westminster Foundation with memorials upon Chip's death. Pat and Chip have been members for 44 years and Pat stated that there was never any question as to where the memorials would go since Westminster had been such an important part of their lives. They both felt this would be a wonderful way to continue to support Westminster and hopefully watch it thrive in the years to come.

The Foundation greatly appreciates these gifts and all those that have remembered it in the past. Please name the Westminster Foundation as a memorial and leave a legacy.

Summer Knit
Together

Wednesdays,
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Knit Together will continue during the summer. We will meet in the church library for a great time of fellowship with a mission and spiritual growth focus as we do knitting and other handwork. Come to learn to knit or bring any handwork. We would love to have YOU join us! Questions? Contact Francy Scheele (477-1102).

Garden Fair
The Garden Fair is an important project for people with too many/not enough vegetables, or too many/ not enough flowers. It's also a place from June through September to hang out with others who have good recipes or advice for the good gifts God provides from the soil. Look for the table every Sunday by the east door. Bring what you can contribute. Take what suits you. Donate to mission.
