Savour the flavour of Scottish Food! Put some puff into ‘yer cheeks on Heritage Sunday. After 10:30 worship, Food Fun and Festivities will provide some royal treats of Scotland.

Lads and Lassies are invited to try their hand at the Highland Games following 10:30 worship. Toss a Caber, participate in the Burlap Troosers Race, see how high you can Toss a Sheaf, be part of a "live chess game!" Kilts are encouraged but not required. Taizé Prayer Service Tonight
Taizé [Tuh ZAY], if you don't remember or know, is a contemplative service of simple, but rich music, scripture, prayer, and silence - with lots of candles. It is about 45 minutes long. Come to the chapel at 7:30 tonight and see what you think. Also: On Sunday, April 29 a Taizé service will be held at Holy Family Shrine at 8:00 p.m. (Larry the Cable Guy called HFS the big glass empty church on I-80 when he was interviewed about Nebraska's 7 wonders.) All are welcome.

Hostamania! - April 22nd
Hostamania is one week from today. Don't assume from the name Hostamania that only hostas will be there. (The name came from our first plant sale when a huge boost came from Clay Bradley because he was renovating his beds; he dug out and potted over 30 hostas - the rest is horticultural history.) With our crazy spring there will be just enough time to see what's available to contribute. Please do that for our Lohmen group. Whatever we earn by our member's generosity - by the plant materials they donate and the payments for what is purchased - will support the exciting mission trip to Germany this October. [Aside - there is unexpected space available. 10 days in Germany for $1000? No joke!] Call Tom Pappas 484-8467 if you need some help digging items or wonder about traveling to Lohmen.
